DK Project
gives away their animation for free
LIMA, PERU. October 9,
-DK Project is giving away their animation for free. They encourage visitors
to copy the animation and to publish it in their own website. "Doing this
the webmasters can add interesting contents to their sites and our animation
gets more exposure to the audience. It's a win-win situation," says Roxana
Vasquez, marketing director for DK Project. This enthusiastic team is very
exited with the idea of sharing with people all over the world their ironic
sense of humor. "We strongly believe there is an opportunity in the cyberspace.
Reaching massive audiences and almost no investment needed was a dream for
any of us here in Peru 5 years ago. Now it's so real and only a click away.
We feel success will depend on our good work and in the opportunities we pursue.
So how can we possibly not give it a chance?" says Ernesto Bottger, creative
director.
DK Project's team is aware
of the strong competition in this market yet they feel confident with the
good quality of their work and with a viral marketing strategy. They confessed
that in the future they will love to do this animation work for a living meanwhile
they are enjoying this experience. "We have an excellent team. We complement
each other with our character and with our talents. We are used to work under
pressure and yet always keep a good sense of humor, that's very important,"
says Bottger. At this moment the team is not interested in making money out
of this idea. "We believe that sooner or later any copy righted material will
be available for free in the internet. We think the value of this project
is behind the people who enjoy our work. If we archive to have an audience
economic rewards will reach us in different ways." adds Vasquez. The idea
is simple, its name: DK Project. This animation tells the story of a secret
agency division formed by two teenager agents named Dott and Kave. Its mission:
to destroy any bad product delivered by the entertainment industry. Each week
a new animation is published in their website regarding themes such us movies,
politics or music. Pretty much it will over anything that's on today's news.

DK Project's team is form
by 3 Peruvians friends Ernesto Bottger (24), Luis Casuso (26) and Roxana Vasquez
(24). They met each other when at the same faculty of communications. Ernesto
has developed expertise in animations working as a freelance in drawing storyboards
for films and ads. Luis has been working in e-business' projects since a year
ago and Roxana works in the marketing department of a business consulting
firm. The team is launching this website for an international audience. They
target a young American male audience. They have chosen this target because
they feel deeply influenced by the American pop culture. "Nearly a 90% of
the shows we have being watching since we where born are made in North America.
With the cable TV we have receive the same products simultaneously. We have
laugh with their jokes, we cry their pains, now we want to share our opinion
as well" says Vasquez. Ê Thank you for your time and consideration.
